Find the cheapest fuel station near coordinates

To find the cheapest station around a point you need three things: station coordinates, current prices and a distance calculation. The Official Fuel Prices API does all three in one call for France, Spain, Italy and Western Australia.

1. Choose the point, radius and fuel

Use WGS84 latitude/longitude (for example from the device GPS). Pick a radius in kilometres and a normalized fuel type such as diesel or gasoline_95.

2. Call the API

curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/sste~official-fuel-prices/run-sync-get-dataset-items" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"latitude":41.3874,"longitude":2.1686,"radiusKm":5,"fuelTypes":["gasoline_95"],"maxResults":10}'

The country is detected from the coordinates, so only the needed government feed is downloaded.

3. Read the result

Rows come sorted cheapest first. Each row has price, currency, unit, distanceKm, the address and, where published, the brand and station name. Use sortBy: "distance" for the nearest stations instead.
